Print Only Selected Text From Web Pages

This tip of the week will save you time, ink and paper!

Sometimes you only want to print a small part of a Website page you are viewing - not all the adverts and other stuff on the page.

This is how you would do that:
Say you want to print only a part of this webpage below.

Selected print 1

Select the part you want printed. (Click at the start of the text and then hold your mouse button in while you move it to the end of the part you want to select.)  It will be "highlighted" in blue as shown above.
Now click the "Print"  button or press "Ctrl-P"  on your keyboard. (the keyboard short-cut for "Print")

In the print box, "All" is selected by default. Change it by selecting "Selection" (as shown below) then click the "Print" button.

Selected print 2

This works in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
